I am so excited to announce that I have registered for my first race in almost 2 years (what??!)!
I made myself 2 simple (and totally reachable) health goals to accomplish this year:
#1: Register for and run a 5km race before June & Join a 10km race by end of December
#2: Complete the 28 Day Fit Girls Guide Challenge
I realised that I have often set myself up to fail every year when I set my goals. I typed in ‘goals’ in this blog’s search box and boy did I have lots of goals. Also, barely did I accomplish any nor stick with it. I would feel discouraged, lose my motivation and feel like such a failure. My goals would mock me throughout the whole year…
For 2015 I still wanted to have health goals but this time I’m doing it differently. I’m making it simple! I came up with goals that I KNOW I CAN accomplish. It’s just 2 goals but by the time 2016 comes at least I know I can look back and say I completed them.
Yes, this has made very optimistic and excited.
