I’m a runner turned certified POP Pilates instructor. I’d never thought I’d say these words because in 2011 at the age of 25 I was so unfit I could barely walk up a flight of stairs without gasping for breath.
It’s been a journey full of ups and downs, victories and failures, and doubting my abilities . But along the way I have surprised myself over and over again- from questioning whether I could run for 3 minutes straight, let alone a full marathon, completing the Blogilates beginners calendar to being an instructor of her format, to things I didn’t even consider to be in my vocabulary- like the splits!
These “achievements” didn’t happen overnight. This journey is a journey of progress. Little by little it all adds up. I have failed but I didn’t quit.
Sure, consistency may be your weakness just like mine. But give yourself a chance. When you find what works for you and what makes you happy, you will discover your potential. You will see results and do things you never thought you could!
Best of all, I am beginning to learn to love myself. Really, truly love myself. And THIS could be your journey too.
